Our church Mission: "... Make Disciples ..."

In Jesus' great commission to His followers (Matt 28:18-20 ) the central command is to make disciples. That command we take seriously and personally. We therefore discipline ourselves, encourage one another, and teach others to simply be His disciples.

Our Identity - Jesus Christ
He is Lord. This is His church. We are trying to serve in it just according to His Word. We are honored to simply use His own personal title, Christ, to identify us - Christian.

Our Purpose - Bring Glory to our Heavenly Father
"...whatever you do, do all the the glory of God." _{1Cor 10:31} We are on a path to have all our thoughts, all of our words, all of our actions, all of our days, and all of our lives given for His glory.

Our Mission - Make Disciples
"...make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always" _{Matt 28:19-20} We are simultaneously striving to make disciples of ourselves, other Christians, and those who do not yet know Him.

Our Instructions - The Bible
"How can a man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your Word." _{Ps 119:9} The Bible is the perfect Word of God and we make it our aim to be the church it describes and live and teach its perfect path in Christ.

Our Commandment - Love
Jesus said "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" _{Matt 22:37-39} God's love is the greatest thing we can reach for and is more awesome than we can know.

Our Struggle - Ourselves
Sin and self focus is a the center of the modern mess we make of life. God teaches us how to die to self and really live through Jesus Christ "...it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." _{Gal 2:20}

Our Aim - Heaven
God's promise in Christ is a indescribably wonderful eternity in heaven with Him. "...but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." _{Phil 3:13-14} There is nothing greater in this life than to walk in Christ to the Glory of God!
