New Church Building Progress

The New Facility Steering Committee meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. We are currently working on a design for our new building that will accommodate the needs of our worship and our ministries. This page will be updated to keep you informed of our progress. Building Update September 2008

moto_5081The exterior and structural building plans for the new facility are essentially complete, and the interior layout is fairly close.  The committee is now beginning work on details such as kitchen layout and acoustical considerations.  The architect has done an outstanding job in translating our specifications into an attractive and functional building.

Several parties are interested in purchasing our current property.  Please pray for negotiations to be fruitful and that, through this venture, the Lord's church may continue to expand in the Valley.

Building Update January 2008

The committee has been working diligently on a floor plan that shows our basic needs, along with some design elements that represent the building style we would like to see. Members of the committee have been asking for input from members of the congregation who expressed interest in helping with various areas of the building.

We are working with an architect who will take our basic layout, refine and improve it, and create detailed architectural drawings. We will also be working with a well known acoustics company to make sure the auditorium is acoustically correct for both hearing the spoken word and singing congregational songs of praise to God. We found that the cost for such a consultation is reasonable and can greatly improve our ability to hear and to enjoy our worship and fellowship
